and the value we add to the services we provide.”
History
MSL is a company built of and from experience. From 1978 to 1997
John McMullan, co-founder of MSL acted as Financial Controller of
Brighton Marina Co. Ltd and its five subsidiaries. Terry Robinson,
co-founder of MSL, was Chief of Security for the Brighton Marina
site, the largest marina in Europe. Both operated a core of experienced
and trusted staff. In 1997 the Marina changed ownership and its
internal service and management structure, passing the facilities
management duties to the new company that John and Terry founded,
along with their respective teams.
Since that beginning, MSL has retained a majority of the original
team and capitalised on this wealth of experience to expand into
new markets and to other sites. By developing and continually refining
thorough training criteria and best practice standards the MSL team
has managed to smoothly integrate new team members whilst constantly
striving to improve on customer service and expand customer base
and their service offerings.
The MSL mission statement is based on the original values of the
MSL team. Integrity, reliability, efficiency and dedication to detail.
Continued expansion remains a priority, but never at the cost of
the core values on which our business has been built; values that
define the quality of our services and of our organisation as a
whole.
