Health and Safety Advice

MSL Security are pleased to offer Health & Safety services including site checks, advice and risk reduction advice based on 25 years of experience in busy public and commercial environments. Our senior staff have completed and passed the 13 week Health and Safety NEBOSH General Certificate Course. MSL's own Health and Safety Experts are City Safety.

Recruitment Recruitment services may be summarised as follows: All applicants are screened for health, suitability and appearance. Full personal documentation (eg. Birth certificate, service discharge papers, passport) is a prerequisite to employment. All staff are screened to BS 7499 and BS 7858 standards. All employees, irrespective of job-function, are subject to detailed background enquiries covering a period of 10 years before any offer of employment is made.		Specialists in control and management

Training

All operational employees of the company receive the fullest training to befit them for the duties they will perform. Our Security Guards are NVQ Level Two trained. Training also includes instruction in the following key areas:

• Criminal Law: Arrest, Offences which justify arrest, Trespass, Powers of Search.
• Fire Prevention: Types of fire, fire prevention etc.
• First Aid: All security guards are trained in first aid and attend courses run by the Red Cross.

Security guards have also attended Police training courses which cover:

• Conflict Resolution
• Powers of Arrest
• Use of Force
• Statements and Evidence
• Tactical Communication
• Personal Space
• Suspicious Packages
• Terrorist Threat Procedure
